Limited by space and weight on safari in Kenya and Tanzania, we looked for clothing/accessories that could serve several purposes. Buff Headwear (as pictured above on both Lindsay & Lanee) was one of those handy, MacGyver type items we were glad we packed. UV Buff with Insect Shield kept the mosquitoes off as the material contained Insect Shield®, blocked 95% of UV rays and could be fashioned a dozen different ways, all for $27. Lindsay likes to wear hers as a headband and Lanee liked to use it to hide her unruly safari hair.
We discovered a Maasai tribe in Masai Mara thought they were pretty nifty too.
